Looking North East The landing threshold for Runway 01 can be seen well inset from the private road at the bottom of the photograph. The parkland surface between the road and the threshold is not smooth. Traffic on the private road is controlled by members of the MVF. Whilst approaches to Rwy 01 are relatively clear, the approach to Rwy 19 is over a plantation of mature oak trees and may require a pre-planned curve.
