(Invincible Airscrews fabricates magnificent new wooden propellers to DH drawings. Note: Invincible’s move to new premises has been delayed for reasons beyond its control and its original wood source has dried up. Because of this only minimum production can be maintained at the moment, and there is a large back order log to clear. As a consequence the company cannot accept further orders for the time being, but it has clearly stated its intention to solve these difficulties and to assure the continuity of its skills and production capability on a normal basis as soon as possible. “Skycraft” specialises in propeller supply and maintenance for vintage and collection aircraft, and has considerable experience with fixed pitch propellers for all the Gipsy Major engine variants.  Over the years it has developed and certified a range of fixed pitch propellers for de Havilland aircraft, much used on the Tiger Moth and Chipmunk but also on the Dragon, Hornet and Leopard.
Skycraft has close links with Dowty Propellers and with Hoffmann Propeller in Germany, for whom it is the UK Service Station and Distributor. The Hoffmann propeller is made of ash and has an integral brass leading edge guard, a trailing edge strengthened for hand swinging and an epoxy resin finish.
Skycraft keeps new propellers in stock and develop new patterns to meet customer requirements)
