1930 Gipsy Moth in South Cambridgeshire. A ‘metal' Moth under restoration requires enthusiast(s) to manage/complete the restoration. For sale. Chipmunk G-BWUN/WD310, c/n 0253, entered service with the RAF in 1951, bought from them in 1996 and owned by myself since. First ever winner of the Moth Club's Pat Fillingham Trophy and twice subsequent winner. Low airframe and fatigue hours. Stripped to bare metal, recovered in Ceconite, and resprayed in 2001. Kept as near original as possible with exception of rear seat squabs, electric start, King VHF, wiring and aerial for transponder (not fitted). Front seat unmodified so seat pack parachute plus log book included. Engine 2,650 hours in total, 10 hours since Top End Overhaul which included 0.005 oversized rings, replacement ignition harnesses, rebuilt magnetos and generator. LAA Permit issued October 2015 after intervening years on CAA Private Cat C of A. Based in a private hangar at Deanland, Sussex (EGKL). One-man tail trolley included in the sale.
